Konstantinos Economopoulos

Konstantinos graduated from the University of Athens, School of Medicine and subsequently acquired a PhD degree in Molecular Biology. He currently works as a General Surgery Resident at Duke University Medical Center. Prior to that he was a Senior Research Scientist at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School after completing a 5-year post-doc research fellowship. The main areas of his research interests focus on medical innovation and medical devices. He has published more than 110 scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals with a total mean impact factor of >5. His work has been cited more than 2,350 times.
