Samuel was born and raised in Utah. He is pursuing his Masters of Engineering degree in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University and holds a B.S. Joint Major in Bioengineering and Materials Science & Engineering from UC Berkeley. In Samuel’s time interning at Edwards Lifesciences he worked on transcatheter heart valves in various roles in R&D, manufacturing, and supplier development. During his undergrad he studied polymer biomaterials and their use in total joint replacements and other orthopedic medical devices.
